Marcus Hazelwood, CEM
Founder, Energy Efficiency Advisor
Marcus Hazelwood is the Founder and Energy Advisor, bringing over 15 years of expertise in energy management. He specializes in improving energy efficiency across commercial, mission-critical, higher education, and municipal systems. Marcus excels in guiding clients through energy audits, building simulations, benchmarking, green building certifications, measurement and verification, and commissioning efforts. His work has generated millions of dollars in energy cost savings and substantial tax deductions, incentives, and rebates.
Previously, Marcus served as a project manager for two national engineering firms and was an Energy Analyst at Harvard University. He holds credentials as a Certified Energy Manager and a LEED Accredited Professional in Building Design + Construction. Marcus has taught graduate students at Endicott College and Harvard University's Extension School, conducting seminars on energy efficiency, sustainable design, and energy modeling for multi-family and commercial buildings.
